In the app

  1. Open Apex and tap your avatar (top right) to open You.
  2. Tap Settings.
  3. Scroll to Account and tap Delete Account.
  4. Tap Delete Everything to confirm.

Apex then signs you out and clears what it keeps on your iPhone, including saved routes, your heatmap, privacy zones and paired sensors. Deleting the app from your iPhone does not delete your account, so please use these steps first.

What gets deleted

  • Your profile, avatar and settings
  • Your runs, rides and their routes, health summaries, training plans, records and achievements
  • Your planned routes, and the copies you shared with a club or your partner
  • Any live shares and their positions, and your "always share with" list
  • Your segments, segment times, segment shares and board settings, and your privacy zones
  • Your club posts, photos, comments and cheers, and challenges you created
  • Your sign-in record (your Apple identifier and email). We also cancel your Sign in with Apple link.
  • Any couple or duo you are in ends, and the other person can no longer see your name or minutes
  • Your story progress, including the chapters you unlocked

If you own a club, it passes to its longest-serving admin (or member). A club with nobody else in it is deleted.

When: normally straight away. If any step fails, we finish it by hand. Either way, your data is gone from our systems within 30 days. We don't keep separate backups.

What isn't deleted

  • Your data in Apple Health stays in Apple Health. Apex only reads from it and never writes to it, so deleting your account doesn't change anything there.
  • A route someone saved to their own routes from a copy you shared is theirs, so it stays with them.
  • Files you exported (GPX, TCX, CSV or JSON) stay wherever you saved or sent them.
  • We may keep a minimal record for longer if the law requires it, or to deal with a safety report or legal claim.

Details are in our Privacy Policy.

Can't open the app?

Email privacy@apexapp.site and ask us to delete your account. Write from the email address linked to your Apex account (or your Apple relay address), or tell us your Apex display name, so we can find it. We'll confirm when it's done, and it will be within 30 days.

To also stop using Sign in with Apple for Apex: iOS Settings → your name → Sign-In & Security → Sign in with Apple → Apex → Stop Using.
