Write to us

Email support@apexapp.site for help with the app, safety reports and complaints. A person reads every message.

For privacy and data requests (a copy of your data, corrections, deletion), email privacy@apexapp.site.

If you or someone else is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services first.

Report something in a club

Clubs are private and invite-only, but if someone makes you uncomfortable, or you see something that breaks the club rules, tell us.

  1. Tap the ••• menu on the post, comment or person.
  2. Choose Report post, Report comment or Report the person, and pick a reason.
  3. Want them gone for good? Choose Block. You won't see each other's posts or comments, and they won't be told.

Content you report is hidden from you straight away. We review reports and act on objectionable content within 24 hours. Club owners and admins can also remove someone from their club, and you can leave any club at any time. Manage the people you've blocked: tap your avatar → Safety & privacy → Blocked people, or use Blocked people at the foot of the Club tab.

Delete your account

In the app: tap your avatar (top right) → Settings → Delete Account → Delete Everything. Your account and everything stored with it are deleted. What gets deleted, step by step.

Your data and privacy

  • Where things live: tap your avatar (top right of Home, Story, Club or Training) to open the You hub. Settings is there too.
  • Export your runs and rides: Settings → Your data → Export my data (GPX, TCX, CSV or JSON). Export Everything also includes your segments, segment times and privacy zones.
  • Hide the start and end of your routes: Settings → Your data (on by default), or You → Safety & privacy.
  • Privacy zones and segment boards: You → Safety & privacy → Privacy zones, and Segment leaderboards (public boards are off by default).
  • Live sharing: tap Stop on the sharing banner at any time. Who you share with by default: You → Safety & privacy → Live sharing.
  • Delete a planned route: open it in Routes and tap Delete route. To delete a recorded run or ride, email privacy@apexapp.site.
  • Leave a couple or a duo: Story tab → the gear (Story settings). The other person isn't notified.
  • Switch story (Couples or Duo): Story tab → the gear (Story settings).
  • Apple Health and location access: iOS Settings → Privacy & Security.

Who makes Apex

Apex is a free passion project by Mohan Prakash Jeyasankar, a runner and tech builder in the UK, making the app he'd want for the running community. Not a company, no investors, no ads.

When you write to support@apexapp.site, Mohan reads it and writes back himself.
